Centerpoint is a non-partisan and student-led organization aiming to create safe spaces for political discussion by promoting diversity of viewpoints, free speech on academic campuses, and common ground.
Through unity and youth engagement, students are best positioned to expand their knowledge and minimize polarization.
As a chapter leader, YOU are responsible for facilitating discussions. This means that it is YOUR role to stay impartial by not asking leading questions and only calling on select people.
After joining Centerpoint, you will have access to our resources. From slideshows on topics to loads of discussion questions, it’s all yours. If Centerpoint has not covered a topic that your club is interested in discussing, material can be created within a week. We are consistently updating our resources to maximize conversations on current events & ongoing topics.
Bi-monthly meetings are required and can either be used as a general check-in or to get help on something specific. As a chapter leader, YOU have free reign over your meetings as long as you follow our basic canons. We assist in formatting meetings that work best for your school and provide outreach for club speakers in your area.

Becoming a staff writer allows you to regularly express and refine your thoughts, enhancing your communication skills. You will also gain hands-on research experience, which provides practical knowledge and deepens your understanding of various subjects.
